By creating an account on app.storshift.com or accessing www.storshift.com (the "Service"), you ("User" or "you") confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service immediately.
Any material violation of these Terms may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Service, as further described in Section 15.

2. Eligibility
To use StorShift, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement on behalf of yourself or your business
- Have legitimate ownership of, or authorization to migrate, the store data being transferred
- Maintain an active Zoho Commerce store as the migration destination
- Have the necessary administrative access to your Source Platform
By creating an account, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate and that you meet the eligibility requirements above.
3. Account Terms
3.1 Registration
To use StorShift, you must register with your full name, a valid email address, and a secure password. You may optionally provide your phone number.
3.2 Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account credentials. StorShift will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your account due to your failure to keep credentials secure. Notify us immediately at support@storshift.com if you suspect any unauthorized access.
3.3 Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account details up to date.
3.4 Account Conduct
You agree to engage with StorShift's platform, personnel, and support team in a respectful and professional manner. Behavior that is abusive, threatening, fraudulent, or that constitutes a material breach of these Terms may result in suspension or termination of your account, following the process described in Section 15.
3.5 Store Credentials Access
By providing StorShift with your source store API credentials, you authorize us to use those credentials solely to connect to and read data from your store for the purposes of migration. We do not store, share, or retain your full admin credentials beyond what is necessary to complete the migration.
4. The Migration Service
4.1 Automated Migration (WooCommerce)
StorShift provides a fully automated, self-service migration for WooCommerce to Zoho Commerce. You are responsible for:
- Generating valid API credentials (Consumer Key and Consumer Secret) from your WooCommerce store's admin panel
- Entering accurate source store configuration details in the StorShift application
- Ensuring your Zoho Commerce destination store is published and the Customer Portal is enabled before starting migration
4.1.1 Migration Scope
StorShift migrates the following standard data entities: Products (name, SKU, description, price, stock, variants, images), Customers (name, email, billing and shipping addresses), and Orders (totals, payment status, shipment status, line items). Non-standard, custom, or third-party plugin-generated data is not included in the default migration scope.
4.1.2 Recommended Migration Order
We strongly recommend migrating Products and Customers before initiating Order migration. Order migration is enabled after the system confirms Product and Customer migration is complete, and you will receive a notification email when Order migration is ready to proceed.
4.1.3 Data Accuracy Responsibility
StorShift transfers data as-is from your source store. We are not responsible for inaccuracies, missing fields, or incomplete records that exist in your source store prior to migration. We recommend reviewing and cleaning your source data before initiating the migration.
4.1.4 During Migration
It is strongly recommended that you do not make changes to your source store or destination store while a migration is in progress. Any modifications made during migration may result in incomplete or incorrect data transfer, for which StorShift cannot be held responsible.
4.1.5 After Migration
After migration is complete, you should revoke or rotate the API credentials provided to StorShift from your WooCommerce store. Complaints or issues regarding migrated data accuracy must be raised within 60 days of the migration completion date.
4.2 Assisted Migration (BigCommerce and Shopify)
Migrations from BigCommerce and Shopify are currently handled as supported, team-assisted services. By submitting a migration request form for these platforms:
- You authorize StorShift and Vinsinfo personnel to collect the store details you provide and use them to coordinate and complete the migration on your behalf.
- Our support team will contact you to gather the necessary store access and configuration details.
- You agree not to make changes to the source or target store configuration during the assisted migration process, as this may cause migration failure.
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary access permissions for both your source and destination stores before the migration begins.
5. Right to Refuse or Suspend Migration
StorShift reserves the right to refuse to initiate, pause, or terminate a migration at any stage where one or more of the following conditions are identified or reasonably suspected:
5.1 Grounds for Refusal
- Unauthorized Data: The Store Data submitted for migration does not belong to you, or you do not have the legal authority to migrate it.
- Illegal or Harmful Content: The Store Data contains content that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or otherwise in violation of applicable law.
- Privacy Law Violation: The migration would result in the processing of personal data in a manner that violates applicable data protection laws, including India's DPDP Act or the EU GDPR.
- Credential Misrepresentation: The API credentials or store access details provided are found to be fraudulent, unauthorized, or obtained without proper permission from the platform owner.
- Platform Policy Breach: The migration would violate the terms of service of the Source Platform (e.g., WooCommerce, Shopify, BigCommerce) or the Destination Platform (Zoho Commerce).
- Security Risk: The migration activity is flagged as posing a security risk to the StorShift platform, other users, or third-party systems.
- Payment Default: Applicable fees for the migration service have not been received in full prior to commencement, where required.
- Misuse of Trial or Demo Access: The migration is being initiated in bad faith, such as to repeatedly exploit free trial or demo features without intent to purchase.
5.2 Process
Where practicable, StorShift will notify you of the reason for refusal or suspension before or at the time of the decision. In cases involving security risks or suspected illegal activity, StorShift may act immediately without prior notice.
5.3 No Liability for Refused Migrations
StorShift shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from the refusal or suspension of a migration carried out on the grounds described in Section 5.1.
6. User Obligations
By using StorShift, you agree to:
- Ensure you have full ownership of or lawful authority to migrate all store data, including the personal data of your customers
- Obtain any required consents from your customers before migrating their personal data to a new platform, in compliance with applicable data protection laws
- Maintain the security of your own FTP, admin panel, and API credentials throughout the migration process
- Back up both your source store and destination store before initiating any migration — StorShift does not back up your data on its servers
- Revoke or rotate your Source Platform API credentials after migration is complete
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, modify, or exploit any part of the StorShift platform or code
- Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including the unauthorized migration of data belonging to third parties
- Not transmit malicious code, viruses, or disruptive content through the Service
- Inform us immediately if you discover any technical vulnerability or security issue within the Service
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Ownership
All software, code, design, graphics, logos, trademarks, and content comprising the StorShift platform and website are the exclusive intellectual property of Vinsinfo and are protected under applicable laws. Copying, reproducing, distributing, or publishing any portion of the Service without Vinsinfo's prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
7.2 Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service solely for the purpose of migrating your eCommerce store data. This license does not permit you to copy, redistribute, resell, or sub-license any part of the Service.
7.3 Your Store Data
You retain full ownership of all Store Data submitted through StorShift. You grant us a limited license to access and process your Store Data solely to provide the migration service. StorShift has no intellectual property rights over your store data.
8. Third-Party Platforms
8. Third-Party Platforms
StorShift integrates with third-party eCommerce platforms to perform migrations. Your use of these platforms is governed by their own terms and conditions. We are not responsible for issues arising from third-party platform downtime, API changes, access restrictions, or policy updates.
- Zoho Commerce: https://www.zoho.com/en-in/terms.html
- WooCommerce: https://wordpress.com/tos/
- Shopify: shopify.com/legal/terms
- BigCommerce: bigcommerce.com/terms
9. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from a Force Majeure Event — that is, any cause beyond that party's reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Acts of God, natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, fires, or extreme weather events
- Epidemics, pandemics, or public health emergencies declared by governmental or international authorities
- Acts of war, terrorism, civil unrest, governmental sanctions, or embargoes
- Failures, outages, or disruptions of third-party infrastructure, platforms, or services on which StorShift relies, including but not limited to Zoho Commerce, WooCommerce, Shopify, BigCommerce, cloud hosting providers, and internet service providers
- Changes in law, regulation, or governmental policy that prevent or restrict the performance of the Service
- Distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, cyberattacks, or other malicious interference affecting platform availability
- Interruptions to telecommunications networks or internet connectivity beyond our control
9.1 Obligations During a Force Majeure Event
The party affected by a Force Majeure Event shall:
- Notify the other party as soon as reasonably practicable of the nature, expected duration, and impact of the event.
- Use commercially reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact of the Force Majeure Event and resume performance as soon as practicable.
9.2 Extended Force Majeure
If a Force Majeure Event continues for more than 30 consecutive days and materially prevents the delivery of the Service, either party may elect to terminate the affected migration or service engagement upon written notice, without liability to the other party, subject to any refund obligations for services not yet commenced.
9.3 Applicability to Third-Party Platforms
For the avoidance of doubt, downtime, API deprecations, authentication failures, or service disruptions caused by Source Platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify, BigCommerce) or the Destination Platform (Zoho Commerce) shall be treated as Force Majeure Events to the extent they are outside StorShift's reasonable control. StorShift shall not be liable for migration delays or failures caused by such third-party platform issues, and affected migrations will be rescheduled at the earliest practicable opportunity.
10. Payment
Migration services may be subject to fees as listed on the StorShift website at www.storshift.com.
All fees must be paid in full prior to the commencement of the migration project, unless otherwise agreed in writing between you and Vinsinfo.
Payment information is processed securely through our platform. StorShift does not store your payment card details.
Migration service is a one-time service per migration request. Each migration of a different store constitutes a separate service engagement.
10.1 Pricing Changes
StorShift reserves the right to revise its pricing at any time. Any pricing change will be communicated via the StorShift website or by email notification at least 14 days before the revised pricing takes effect for new migration requests. Pricing changes will not apply retroactively to migration requests that have already been paid for or formally agreed upon in writing prior to the change notification.
If you have an active migration in progress or a confirmed paid order at the time of a pricing change, your original agreed pricing will be honoured for that engagement.
11. Refund Policy
11.1 Refund Eligibility
StorShift will evaluate refund requests where a migration failure is directly and verifiably attributable to a technical issue within the StorShift platform, provided:
- The issue is reported within 7 days of the migration completion date
- The issue has been reviewed and confirmed by the StorShift support team
- The issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe
11.2 Cases Not Eligible for Refund
The following situations are not eligible for refunds:
- Refund requests unrelated to the scope of the purchased service
- Inability to migrate data due to source or destination platform limitations, restrictions, or Force Majeure Events
- Inaccuracies or missing data that existed in the source store prior to migration
- Modifications made by you to the source or destination store during the migration process
- API credentials that were incorrect, expired, or had insufficient permissions
- Issues caused by third-party platforms, hosting providers, or firewall configurations
- Requests made after the migration service has been fully delivered and accepted
- Assisted migrations for BigCommerce and Shopify where the service has been initiated and store data has been collected
- Migrations refused or suspended under Section 5 of these Terms
11.3 Refund Process
To request a refund, contact us at support@storshift.com with your account details and a description of the issue. We will investigate and respond within 5 business days.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
This section sets out the basis on which StorShift and the Service are made available to you. Please read it carefully.
12.1 Service Provided "As Is"
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Vinsinfo expressly disclaims all representations, warranties, and conditions of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to:
- Any implied warranty of merchantability, satisfactory quality, or fitness for a particular purpose
- Any warranty that the Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations
- Any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free at all times
- Any warranty of non-infringement of third-party intellectual property rights
12.2 Data Migration Limitations
StorShift does not warrant that:
- All data will be migrated without exception in every case, particularly where source store data is incomplete, corrupted, or restricted by the source platform
- The migrated data will be identical in all formatting or structural aspects to the source store, where differences are attributable to the technical specifications of the Destination Platform
- Migration outcomes will be unaffected by third-party platform changes, API deprecations, or compatibility issues outside our control
12.3 No Warranty on Third-Party Platforms
StorShift makes no representations or warranties regarding the availability, reliability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party platform integrated with the Service, including Zoho Commerce, WooCommerce, Shopify, and BigCommerce. Your use of these platforms is entirely at your own risk and governed by their respective terms.
12.4 Acknowledgement
You acknowledge that you have not relied on any representation, warranty, or statement made by or on behalf of Vinsinfo that is not set out in these Terms, and that you assume full responsibility for the decision to use the Service for your migration requirements.
13. Service Availability and Maintenance
StorShift aims to provide a reliable and consistently available service. However, the following circumstances may result in the Service being temporarily unavailable or operating in a reduced capacity:
13.1 Scheduled Maintenance
StorShift may conduct planned maintenance, upgrades, or updates to the platform infrastructure, application, or integrations. Where practicable, we will provide at least 48 hours' advance notice of scheduled maintenance via the StorShift website or by email. Scheduled maintenance will, where possible, be carried out during off-peak hours to minimise disruption.
13.2 Emergency Maintenance
In certain circumstances, emergency maintenance may be required to address critical security vulnerabilities, platform failures, or urgent technical issues. Emergency maintenance may be performed without advance notice. We will communicate the nature and expected duration of emergency maintenance as soon as practicable after it commences.
13.3 Platform Upgrades
From time to time, StorShift may release updates, upgrades, or new versions of the Service, including updates required to maintain compatibility with Source Platforms or the Destination Platform. These upgrades may temporarily affect service availability. Where an upgrade materially changes a feature you rely upon, we will provide reasonable advance notice.
13.4 Third-Party Dependency Outages
StorShift's availability may be affected by outages or disruptions at third-party platforms or infrastructure providers on which the Service relies, including cloud hosting providers, Zoho Commerce, and source platform APIs. These events are outside our direct control and will be treated in accordance with the Force Majeure provisions in Section 9.
13.5 No SLA Commitment
Unless a separate written Service Level Agreement (SLA) has been entered into between you and Vinsinfo, StorShift does not guarantee any specific uptime percentage or availability target. Enterprise customers requiring formal SLA commitments are invited to contact us at support@storshift.com.
13.6 Migrations in Progress During Downtime
If a scheduled or emergency maintenance event occurs while your migration is in progress, StorShift will take commercially reasonable steps to preserve migration state and resume the migration upon restoration of service. We will notify you of any impact on your active migration as soon as practicable.
14. Beta Features and Pre-Release Versions
From time to time, Vinsinfo may offer access to Beta Features — experimental, pre-release, or early-access versions of the Service or specific functionality — for the purposes of testing, feedback, and development. The following terms apply to all Beta Features:
14.1 Nature of Beta Features
- Beta Features are provided for evaluation and testing purposes only and may not be representative of the final released product.
- Beta Features may contain errors, bugs, or incomplete functionality and may not perform as expected.
- Beta Features may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.
- Beta Features should not be relied upon for production store migrations without independent verification.
14.2 Beta Access
Access to Beta Features may be granted at Vinsinfo's discretion, including through invitation, waitlist, or public beta programmes. Participation in a Beta programme does not entitle you to continued access, commercial pricing, or the same terms as the general release of the Service.
14.3 Feedback
By participating in any Beta programme, you agree that feedback, suggestions, bug reports, or other input you provide to Vinsinfo regarding the Beta Features may be used by Vinsinfo without restriction or compensation for the purpose of improving the Service. You retain no intellectual property rights in such feedback.
14.4 Disclaimer for Beta Features
In addition to the general disclaimers set out in Section 12, Beta Features are provided with no warranty of any kind. Vinsinfo accepts no liability for any loss, data corruption, or migration failure arising from your use of Beta Features. You assume all risk associated with your use of any pre-release or experimental functionality.
14.5 Transition to General Availability
When a Beta Feature transitions to general availability (GA), it will become subject to the full terms of these Terms and Conditions and any applicable pricing. We will provide advance notice of GA release and any associated pricing before it takes effect.
15. Suspension and Termination
15.1 Termination by You
You may request account termination at any time by contacting us at support@storshift.com. Termination does not entitle you to a refund for fees already paid, except as provided in Section 11.
15.2 Suspension or Termination by StorShift
StorShift may suspend or terminate your access to the Service where:
- You have materially breached any provision of these Terms and have not remedied the breach within 7 days of written notice from us (where the breach is capable of remedy).
- You have engaged in fraudulent, unlawful, or abusive conduct in connection with your use of the Service.
- Continued provision of the Service to you poses a security risk to the StorShift platform, other users, or third-party systems.
- You have failed to pay applicable fees by the due date and have not remedied this within 5 business days of a payment reminder.
- A migration has been refused under Section 5 and you repeatedly attempt to circumvent such refusal.
- We are required to do so by applicable law, court order, or regulatory directive.
15.3 Notice
Where practicable and not precluded by law or security considerations, StorShift will provide you with reasonable advance written notice before suspending or terminating your account, and will specify the grounds for the action being taken.
15.4 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Any retained data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data retention obligations. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property rights, disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — shall survive termination.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vinsinfo and StorShift shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of business, revenue, profits, or goodwill
- Loss of or damage to data
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Issues arising from source or destination platform API limitations, downtime, Force Majeure Events, or third-party changes
- Costs of procuring substitute services
- Losses arising from your use of Beta Features
Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to StorShift in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vinsinfo, its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law, including data protection laws
- Any unauthorized use of your account or credentials
- Inaccuracies or issues with data you provided for the purpose of migration
- Any claim brought by a third party (including your customers) arising from your failure to obtain necessary consents for the migration of their personal data
18. Data Protection and Data Processing Agreement
StorShift processes personal data — including customer names, email addresses, billing and shipping addresses, phone numbers, and order information — in the course of delivering the migration service. The following provisions govern how this data is handled.
18.1 Roles
As the store owner instructing the migration, you are the Data Controller for your customers' personal data. StorShift (operated by Vinsinfo) acts as a Data Processor on your behalf when handling customer records during migration. Vinsinfo also acts as an independent Data Controller in relation to your own account and registration data.
18.2 Processing Basis
StorShift processes your customers' personal data strictly on your instructions and solely for the purpose of completing the requested migration. We do not process this data for any independent commercial purpose, including advertising, profiling, or resale.
18.3 Your Data Protection Obligations
As Data Controller, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have a lawful basis to transfer your customers' personal data to a new platform (e.g., consent, legitimate interest, or contractual necessity).
- Informing your customers of the change in platform and the processing of their personal data by StorShift as a data processor, where required by applicable law.
- Complying with all applicable data protection laws, including India's DPDP Act 2023 and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.
18.4 Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
Given that StorShift processes personal data on your behalf — including customer names, email addresses, postal addresses, phone numbers, and order records — a formal Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available upon request and is recommended for:
- Users subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) who are instructing cross-border data processing.
- Enterprise customers whose internal policies or client contracts require a DPA with all data processors.
- Users subject to India's DPDP Act, 2023, or other data protection frameworks that impose contractual obligations on data processors.
Our standard DPA governs the subject matter, duration, nature, and purpose of processing; the categories of personal data and data subjects; the obligations and rights of both parties; data breach notification; sub-processor management; and return or deletion of data upon service termination.
18.5 How to Request a DPA
To request a DPA, please email support@storshift.com with the subject line "DPA Request." Our team will respond within 5 business days.
Enterprise customers with bespoke DPA requirements or existing standard contractual clause templates are welcome to share their requirements. We will work collaboratively toward an agreed arrangement.
19. Governing Law and Exclusive Jurisdiction
19. Governing Law and Exclusive Jurisdiction
19.1 Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
19.2 Exclusive Jurisdiction
Subject to Section 19.3, each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or their subject matter or formation. By using the Service, you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts.
19.3 EU / UK Users — GDPR Supervisory Authorities
Nothing in Section 19.2 shall prevent a data subject located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom from exercising their right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in their country of residence regarding the processing of their personal data. Such regulatory complaints are not subject to the exclusive jurisdiction clause above.
19.4 Dispute Resolution — Mandatory Negotiation Period
Prior to initiating any formal legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith written negotiation for a minimum period of 30 days from the date of written notice of the dispute. Only if the dispute remains unresolved after this period may either party escalate to the courts identified in Section 19.2.
20. Severability
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
21. Entire Agreement
21. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy (www.storshift.com/privacy-policy) and any executed Data Processing Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Vinsinfo regarding the use of StorShift and supersede all prior agreements, representations, or understandings.
22. Changes to These Terms
22. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When material changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and notify users via email where appropriate.
